You can break free

I started using meth when I was 17, my first "binge" I stayed up for 11 days and being a beginner didnt realize that just because I wasnt hungry or thirsty didnt mean my body didnt need it. I lost 50 lbs in those 11 days, and by day 11 I was hallucinating from my body having no nutrients what so ever, I tried to eat, but youd be surprised how easy it is to forget how to chew or swallow, so I passed out for 3 days and woke up ready to eat... That was my life for 5 years, I didnt go a day without it, all my friends did it, it got to the point where my family wouldnt even bother telling me not to do it, they just begged me to not let it kill me. After I turned 21 I began dating a guy who i had always liked, even before meth, and he liked me too, he did meth too, even helped cook it several times. We had been up for about 6 days and we were coming down, we were totally different people, he was mean, I was emotional, we had a huge fight and went our seperate ways. I was heart broken and went on another binge for a few days, then I came down and passed out for 2 days. The day I woke up he came to my house, he told me he wanted nothing more than to be with me, and together that day, we made a choice, we chose a clean life together over a dead end life as tweakers. That day was september 10th 2004, and we have been 100% clean since that day, and I couldnt imagine being happier than we are now. If you choose life, and get away from the game, you can beat meth, we did.
