5-year-old boy found left alone with Methamphetamine, heroin, loaded gun in Stockton motel room

A 5-year-old boy was found alone in a Stockton motel room with drugs, and officers are searching for the child’s father, police said.

Stockton police found the boy in the motel just before 3:30 p.m. Monday in the 600 block of North Center Street.

The child was found in the room with a large amount of heroin and methamphetamine, a loaded Tech 9 and a large amount of money, officers said.

Police found the child’s mother, who took back her son. She told investigators that she left the child in the care of his father who stays at the motel, according to police.

The child’s father, Donald Rucker, 41, is wanted on child endangerment, weapon and narcotic charges, officers said.
