KOMO NEWS 13, June 21, 2016
EVERETT, Wash. -- An apple a day does not keep the cops away.
Two men tried to deliver a box of apples and 12 pounds of methamphetamine at the Everett Mall earlier this month.
Seattle police narcotics detectives and officers with the Snohomish County Regional Drug Task Force arrested them as they pulled into the mall in a white van and began unloading the box.
In addition to the apples and meth, police also seized $3,895 in cash.
The men were booked into the Snohomish County Jail.
