New Iberia woman accused of hiding meth in baby's clothes

A New Iberia woman was arrested Thursday after allegedly trying to hide crystal meth in her baby's clothes.
According to the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a vehicle driven by Keylan Vallot. Vallot, of Abbeville, was wanted on outstanding warrants in Lafayette.
The passenger is the vehicle, 28-year-old Danielle Picard of New Iberia, reportedly tried to hide a small amount of suspected methamphetamine in her 18-month-old's clothes.
Picard was arrested and booked into the Iberia Parish Jail on charges of possession of crystal methamphetamine and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in the presence of a juvenile.
No bond was set as of Friday morning.
