Being Poisoned

Hi, I work in a Forensic Hospital in the U.K. I'm not an expert on drugs I work with people who suffer from mental health problems. At the moment I am on a 15 bed 'rehab' ward, the reason rehab is spelt 'rehab' is that so far three years after opening many of our patients re offend. Listen up, I can go from room 1 to 15 and point out that rooms 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,13,14,15 have patients who used DRUGS and room 12 used alcohol excessively. The crimes they committed range from sex offences to horrific murders with arson and theft thrown in.

There is no doubt that a lot of mental health is down to social problems, people have problems they take drugs their problems get out of hand..it's a vicious cycle but victims do not have the right to create more victims. Don't take the easy route out of your problems and cause problems for others...stay clean. Drugs alter your brain chemistry, they dull neuro pathways, they are POISONING you. Find another way of dealing with issues, they are out there, stay clean. Doesn't matter how much shit you are exposed to rise above it, don't give in to people putting you down believe in yourselves.

Behaving decent is being decent, you can't keep a good man (or woman down).

There is so much in life that is beautiful, believe in yourselves.
