I have a friend who wants to try meth. I told him, seriously, don't be so stupid. He told me it's not that bad. But he didn't. Not this time. Next time, I'll say the same thing, tell him he shouldn't be so stupid, that he's smarter than that, that he has so much going for him. Next time, I might not be so lucky. Even with these ads, even with awareness being raised, people are still trying meth, still getting hooked, all because they don't think it will ever be so bad. It scares me to think of my friends, my future children, my future grandchildren, living in a world where it's easy to get and even easier to be coerced into trying. But it's my fight and I will fight it. I will continue to educate myself so I can educate others. I will continue to say something. I will not ignore this drug, this disease, this addiction.
