Hi, my name is James. I live in Ball Ground, Georgia and I have a story about meth. I was 14 years old when I first moved to Ball Ground, and I was trying to make new friends and when I did I never knew that they were smoking methamphetamine. I was confused as to what it was when they told me about it. I had this friend who spent the night at my house high on meth. He was acting strange around me telling me that he sees things that fly around the house and even beat me to death yelling "give me the drugs". I never saw him again or hung around him again. By the time I was in high school, I made a new friend who was schizophrenic. Me and him were friends for the longest time and never knew he was into smoking pot and getting into trouble. When I went to his house one night him and another friend were snorting methamphetamine on a glass table. They asked me for money and when I told them no, they argued and was getting very impatient with me about it even though I tell them I don't have any money. Once they told me to leave I went to turn around my friend and the other guy beat me on the front porch. I once saw another friend of mine beat his girlfriend and got her pregnant high on meth. Those people I found out to this day are in jail and dropped out of high school. I think that its pretty clear that methamphetamine is a dangerous drug it can mess with your mind and make you do things you thought you would never do. It not only made them do stupid things but they have stolen from me numerous amounts of times and pawned my stuff for drug money and every time I came to them about it they would deny it. I just hope that in the future that people wont have to grow up around people that smoke meth or get involved with people that do illegal things like I have been through. I can only pray that people wont try meth, not even once.
