A Life in Pieces

Dimensions of my artwork: 11 feet tall X 15 feet wide. I used acrylic paint and house paint on canvas. We're displaying it over the main entrance of the Boys' and Girls' Club of Ada County on 42nd Street in Garden City, and it's also visible to the Green Belt. I attend church in Garden City and I wanted to display this anti-meth artwork somewhere in Garden City because of the high rate of meth use there. People addicted to meth are self-destructive, even gouging their own skin. My inspiration was to show the sadness of someone wrecking their perfectly beautiful human body in such a disturbing way.
