Speak Up

I remember when I was a little girl. My parents would argue all the time about what I thought was silly things. But when I was 8 years old, I saw my dad on the news. He had blown up a meth lab with my two little sisters and little brother inside. Luckily no one was hurt. My dad went to prison for 5 years for what he did. This summer, he had a warrant out for his arrest to go back to court. At his hearing he was sentenced to another 8 years. After his 8 years, I'll be 22 years old... I just hope I can still remember his face and his love he gave me for the short time he was around. I never want meth to affect any family, and I would never wish it upon anyone.
