Fear

Wow, just wow....the lack of personal responsibility on this site amazes me. I've smoked meth on and off for almost 4 years now, never gone insane, never tried to cut imaginary bugs out of my skin, never jumped from a moving car, and never spent the night on a urine soaked mattress in some crack house. I maintain a 9-5 job, pay my bills & taxes, am active in my community and, in my opinion, contribute to the economy and society in general. I have not robbed anyone, killed, stolen from or abandoned my family for meth. I'm sure there are plenty of junkies who will stay up for weeks at a time, hurt others, and break the law, and they deserve all the problems that come with that, but staying up all night on Friday, going to sleep on Saturday afternoon and waking up on Sunday is the weekly regimen of many college kids who DO NOT smoke meth. I will say that those with weak minds, willpower, and constitutions should not partake in things they can't handle. Lots of people drink alcohol, but not everyone is an alcoholic. Get off your high horse, just because some people fuck up, and don't want to take responsibility for their actions, ("Oh my god this is so addictive, I can't help myself"), does not give you the right to start fear mongering and taking away the peoples right to choose. This "project" is nothing more than a propaganda campaign that uses "extreme" scare tactics to keep people from making up their own minds. Some people can use meth and (contrary to this "project") STILL not end up crazy, dead, homeless or in jail. So I guess the question I would pose is this, "Do you have enough character to be responsible for the decisions you make, and not "blame it on the drugs?" Can you take responsibility for your own actions and the consequences, good or bad?". I realize that this will probably be removed almost as soon as it is posted, because anyone with an alternative point of view is immediately censored, but maybe one of the mods will actually read this whole thing through and take a second to think about it before hitting delete. SPEAK UP (as long as you agree with what we have to say).
