Speak Up

I will never understand as to how anyone could ever neglect a child for something as ignorant as meth. I've known so many families with meth addicts in them, but the worse thing is for the head of the house hold to be addicted to meth as well. I know an innocent little girl who I've had to watch grow up for years in a filthy house full of vulgar people willing to do anything for meth. I'm sure she's been abused in many ways. I tried to help them for her. I tried to give them money for food, they only bought more meth. I tried to give the girl money,the mother took it from her and bought meth. I tried talking to her family but they only laugh and think it's fine to live in filth and neglect children. I tried calling child services, they still have done nothing. What is wrong with people these days? thanks to my failure, that of so many others, and the influence her family has another poor child is growing up learning to be an addict. doesn't she deserve better? Is time running out for her? Is there even time? She's still stuck there.
