Mobile meth lab busted in Harrison County

SALEM, W.Va. — The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department arrested two men for operating a mobile methamphetamine lab.
Gordon M. Baker, 58, of Middlebourne, WV and Timothy J. Lasure, 38, of West Union were allegedly attempting to sell meth from a minivan in the Salem area of Harrison County.
The traffic stop turned into a drug bust when deputies observed what they believed to be components of a meth lab.
The Harrison County Sheriff’s Department SCAD unit and the Lewis County Sheriff’s Deputy Meth Lab Team responded to the scene and located an active methamphetamine lab under the back seat of the minivan.
Police charged both men with felonies for operating a clandestine laboratory and conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine.
Baker and Lasure are in North Central Regional Jail.
