Sheriff's deputies arrested a 19-year-old woman Monday after a search last month found a "shake and bake" meth lab at her Banner Elk home.
The search June 25 found the methamphetamine lab, precursors commonly used to make the drug and drug paraphernalia at the house.
Valerie Ann Dollar of 153 Boulder Gardens Road, Banner Elk, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession of meth precursors, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the sheriff's office.
She is being held in lieu of a $120,000 secured bond and is scheduled to appear in court July 23.
