Woman arrested after baby tests positive for meth

MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF) - A Marshall County woman is in jail after her newborn baby tested positive for methamphetamine.

Marshall County Sheriff's deputies charged Jennifer Nicole Wilson of Albertville with chemical endangerment of a child.

She was placed in the Marshall County Jail early Wednesday afternoon following her release from the hospital.

The child remains in the hospital receiving specialized care.

Bond for Wilson was set at $300,000.
